The suite began with two movements composed in 1996: 1. Rondo capriccioso and 2. Passacaglia romantico. A Toccata (movement 4) was added in the 2000’s, and eventually the shimmering “Meditation on the Tides” (to C. Curtis-Smith), the 3rd movement, came in the late 2000’s. It took me a few years to clean it up and I have released it here in 2018. Two movements were premiered by Pei-Yin Hsieh, Violin, and Chaoi Chou, Piano, on August 29, 2018 at Hsih Chien University Kaohsiung Campus, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan.
